Kriti Sanon recalls how she broke down in tears during her first photo shoot

Kriti Sanon discussed her modelling days before she entered the film industry in a recent interview. The star remembered how she botched her first photo shoot. After her photo shoot went poorly, Kriti admitted that she is “a perfectionist, almost irritatingly so,” and that this made her cry. She claimed that the fact that she “didn’t do well” in it truly worried her.
Kriti has been actively promoting Adipurush, in which she co-stars with Prabhas. Before signing up for her first movie, the actor dabbled in modelling. Alongside Mahesh Babu, she made her acting debut in the Telugu movie 1: Nenokkadine in 2014. The same year, she co-starred with Tiger Shroff in Heropanti, her debut Hindi feature. Kriti recalls being “extremely nervous” during her first photo shoot when talking about her modelling days.

“My mother is a professor and the first woman to hold a job in her family. In actuality, Mom finished her PhD while carrying me. Additionally, being the firstborn means that you occasionally have the duty of leading by example. I guess it’s inborn, but I’ve always felt pressure to excel at everything I do. And I have a near-annoying obsession with perfection. I can recall being really anxious during my first photo shoot, and I made a few mistakes. I was upset that I didn’t do well, so I cried as I got home. However, confidence can grow with time. My motto is to learn from my mistakes and move forward, Kriti told Harper’s Bazaar India. “I believe you learn more from your failures than you ever will from your successes,” she said.

Together with Kareena Kapoor and Tabu, Kriti is now working on her upcoming film, The Crew. In the same interview, Kriti stated, “I am now shooting for The Crew, which is a very intriguing project for me. It is directed by Rajesh Krishnan and is supported by Rhea Kapoor. We often work with a lot of male performers, so to work with two starring girls is a dream come true and a lot of fun. I am working with two wonderful female actresses.

Adipurush will shortly feature Kriti. Adipurush is a mythological drama directed by Om Raut that is based on the epic Ramayana. Prabhas plays Lord Ram in the movie, while Kriti Sanon plays Janaki and Sunny Singh plays Lakshman. Saif Ali Khan will be seen playing the part of Lankesh in the movie.
