Season 3 City of Dreams gets a release date
On May 26, Disney Plus Hotstar will debut the third season of the well-liked television show City of Dreams, the streaming service announced on Thursday. On its social media accounts, the streaming service posted the third chapter’s official teaser and release date.
The assassination attempt on a divisive political figure sparks a rivalry inside the Gaikwad family, which is the subject of the Nagesh Kukunoor-produced television programme.
Atul Kulkarni, Priya Bapat, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Sushant Singh, Eijaz Khan, and Rannvijay Singha are all part of the ensemble cast. Ameya Gaikwad (Kulkarni) and Poornima Gaikwad (Bapat) will team up in the upcoming season to defend their legacy from their adversaries and other forces.
The first season of the programme premiered in May 2019, and the second season followed in July 2021. Kulkarni stated in a statement that season three goes “deep” into the political web, the Gaikwads, and all that surrounds them.
“It has been a very rewarding experience working on this programme, and my character Ameya Rao Gaikwad has seen a growth curve at each stage. Throughout this season, he goes through a tremendous transition that radically changes the essence of his demeanour. The actor promised that viewers would witness a fresh, updated interpretation of Ameya’s friendship with Poornima.
Poornima’s character, according to Priya Bapat, is “extremely complex, emotional, and layered.”
She tries to find the ideal balance between the upheaval in her personal life and the need to return even more powerfully in order to preserve her legacy.Throughout all seasons, I had a great deal of fun working with Disney+ Hotstar. Additionally, working with such seasoned performers as Atul Kulkarni and Sachin Pilgaonkar was a wonderful experience, and she continued, “I am looking forward to audience comments this season.
