The Oscars 2023, also known as the 95th Academy Awards presentation, was a very exciting night for Indians as we saw RRR and The Elephant Whisperers win the prestigious honours. Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone introduced the award-winning song Naatu Naatu from the SS Rajamouli film while it was also played live onstage. Her words has now been transformed into a popular rap song by Canadian DJ SickKick, which even got the actress’s attention.
In the Best Original Song category, Naatu Naatu won the Oscar. The songs were sung live on stage by the artists Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj. They had professional dancers with them. Deepika used the phrase “complete banger” to introduce them on stage.

Deepika Padukone’s usage of the phrase “complete banger” in a speech was appropriated by the DJ SickKick, who converted it into a rap song.

The remixed version was made by the DJ by incorporating funk beats.

SickKick posted the “bit of music” on their Instagram page.

“I was watching the Oscars and heard @deepikapadukone’s fantastic speech and got incredibly motivated to compose this small piece of music…total banger,” the caption for the photo reads.

The DJ has added a few extra lyrics and turned Deepika Padukone’s “complete banger” into a rap song.

Numerous online users complimented the effort and asked for the complete version.

Uhm soo sick was one of their comments.

Will you be playing this song nonstop, asked another.

To quote one of them, “Sh*t, bro!

This is huge!

Damn”

Many of them suggested DP and urged her to look into it; the attractive woman did so and acknowledged them.

Deepika Padukone posted the image with the description “Complete Banger” to the narrative section of her official Instagram account.

In her opening remarks, Deepika Padukone said the following about RRR’s Naatu Naatu: “This song has become a global phenomenon because to its killer dancing movements, thrilling beats, and irresistibly catchy chorus. It plays during a crucial scene in “RRR,” a film about the friendship of Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, two real-life Indian rebels. It’s also a total banger, illustrates the anti-colonialist ideas of the movie, and is sung in Telugu.”
