Priyanka Chopra discussed how a failed nose surgery sent her into a “deep depression” and made her believe that her career might be over. After being crowned Miss World 2000, the actor discussed getting the operation. Priyanka saw a doctor shortly after becoming Miss World more than 20 years ago because she was having problems breathing and had a “lingering head cold.” She claimed the medical professional had discovered a polyp in her nasal cavity and had recommended surgery to get it removed. According to the actor, a doctor accidentally shaved her nose, causing the bridge to collapse and change the actor’s image, leading to her termination from three films. She feared that her acting career had already ended.
Priyanka also discussed how her late father Ashok Chopra, a physician in the Indian Army, had pushed her through her concerns and encouraged her to have corrective surgery. Her acting career was gone before it ever began because she was sacked from three different films after the fact. “This thing happened, and my face looks entirely different, and I plunged into a terrible, deep depression.
