Sooraj Pancholi, who is most known for his work in the films Hero, Satellite Shankar, and Time to Dance, has been cleared of all charges related to his girlfriend, actress Jia Khan, who committed suicide in 2013, in 2013. Due to a lack of evidence, a special CBI court in Mumbai dismissed all of the accusations against the actor. The actor has now posted on social media to share his satisfaction following his acquittal.
After the court’s decision in the Jiah Khan suicide case from 2013, Sooraj Pancholi wrote on his Instagram on Friday, “The truth always wins. “#GodIsGreat,” along with a red heart and the emojis for folded hands.
Following the court’s acquittal of Sooraj Pancholi, Jiah Khan’s mother Rabia Khan slammed the media, threatening to “go to the High Court or Supreme Court.” I’ll work harder because they ask me to. I’ve been fighting for ten years, and I’ll keep fighting. Jiah will be made to pay.
In June 2013, Jiah Khan’s body was discovered at her Mumbai house. The actress, who was only 25 years old when she was discovered dead, left a six-page suicide note, which was discovered in her flat four days later. The actor was detained by the Juhu police a week after the actress’ mother later claimed that Sooraj Pancholi had encouraged her to commit suicide.
With the release of the film Nishbad, Jiah Khan made her acting debut alongside Amitabh Bachchan. She later appeared in a number of Bollywood films, including Housefull, Ghajni, and Dil Se. The son of Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, Sooraj Pancholi, is said to have dated Jiah Khan. In September 2012, the pair began dating, and Jiah’s mother Rabia asserted that her daughter was in an abusive relationship.
