Complete list of 2023 Filmfare Award winners A major success for Gangubai Kathiawadi & Bhadaai Do


Some of Bollywood’s A-listers attended the star-studded 68th Hyundai Filmfare Awards in 2023. The show, which celebrated the performances from the previous year, took place at Jio World Convention Centre. Vicky Kaushal, Tiger Shroff, Janhvi Kapoor, and Jacqueline Fernandez gave scintillating performances on the starry night, which Salman Khan hosted.
The top films from last year were recognised during the award ceremony, which took place on Thursday night. Big winners Badhaai Do and Gangubai Kathiawadia made a clean sweep of the honours. For Gangubai Kathiawadi, Alia Bhatt received Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female), and for Badhaai Do, Rajkummar Rao won Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male). Best movie, according to critics: Rajkummar Rao for Badhaai Do Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male)
Alia Bhatt for Gangubai Kathiawadi won the award for best actor in a leading role (female).
Sanjay Mishra for Vadh won the award for best actor.
Bhumi Pednekar for Badhaai Do and Tabu for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 received awards for best actress and best director, respectively. Sanjay Leela Bhansali won for Gangubai Kathiawadi.
Anil Kapoor for Jug Jugg Jeeyo won the award for best male actor in a supporting role.
Sheeba Chaddha for Badhaai Do won the award for best actor in a supporting role. Pritam won the award for best music album for Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva.
Best Dialogue: Utkarshini Vashishtha and Prakash Kapadia in Gangubai Kathiawadi
Lifetime Achievement Award goes to Prem Chopra Best Debut (Male): Ankush Gedam for Jhund Best Debut (Female): Andrea Kevichüsa for Anek Best Debut Director: Jaspal Singh Sandhu and Rajeev Barnwal for Vadh Best Screenplay: Akshat Ghildial, Suman Adhikary, and Harshavardhan Kulkarni for Badhaai Do Best Story: Akshat Ghildial
Pritam for Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, best music album
Amitabh Bhattacharya’s Kesariya from Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva has the best lyrics.
Arijit Singh for Kesariya from Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva won the award for best male playback singer.
Optimal Playback Kavita Seth, a female singer, performed Rangisari from Jug Jugg Jeeyo.
Jahnvi Shrimankar won the RD Burman Award for Upcoming Music Talent for her performance of Gangubai Kathiawadi’s Dholida.
Best VFX: Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, DNEG, and Redefine

Ninad Khanolkar for An Action Hero won for best editing.

Sheetal Sharma for Gangubai Kathiawadi won for best costume design.

Subrata Chakraborty and Amit Ray for Gangubai Kathiawadi won the award for best production design.

Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva by Bishwadeep Dipak Chatterjee won for best sound design.

Best Background Score: Gangubai Kathiawadi by Sanchit and Ankit Balhara Best Choreography: Dholida from Gangubai Kathiawadi by Kruti Mahesh

Sudeep Chatterjee for Gangubai Kathiawadi won best cinematography, and Parvez Shaikh for Vikram Vedha won best action.

On April 27, 2023, Colours TV broadcast the 68th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2023, during which Bollywood stars such Alia Bhatt, Rekha, Bhumi Pednekar, Anil Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff walked the red carpet.
