Day 1 box office results for Kabzaa Sudeep and Upendra’s movie had a poor start and brings in Rs. 11 crore.

Kabzaa, starring actors Upendra and Kichcha Sudeep, opened in theatres on Friday. Despite having two big-name performers, the movie has just just surpassed the Rs 10 crore barrier. Early estimates from industry tracker Sacnilk indicate that the movie made Rs. 11.01 crore on its first day of release.

Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway and Zwigato, two Hindi movies, were also released at the same time as Kabzaa. In addition, the March 8 release of Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkaar presents the film with fierce competition.

As compared to Sudeep’s Vikrant Rona, which debuted to Rs 35 crores, Kabzaa has significantly underperformed. In 2022, Vikrant Rona was released, and at the time of its release, it was the third-highest earning Kannada movie.

Kabzaa, which was directed by R Chandru, was made available in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi. Shiva Rajkumar, Shriya Saran, Sudha, Murali Sharma, Nawab Shah, and Suneel Puranik are among the other actors that appear in the movie.

A want tobe KGF, according to Indianexpress.com, who awarded the movie one star. “An unfortunate aspect of any path-breaking picture is that it ends up being the blueprint for others to copy,” the review stated in part. “Kabzaa is a flawed product that, in an attempt to mimic Yash’s KGF, ends up becoming a tiresome affair that’s devoid of emotions.”
