The actress had an unexpected visit from his actor husband Ranveer Singh during the interview for the same, and he merely described it as a “cosmic” coincidence. Ranveer claimed he was filming next door and had the idea to surprise her. They shared a kiss both before he welcomed her and after his brief visit. In the footage from Ranveer’s unexpected visit, Deepika is seen answering a question regarding marriage before the latter appears online. He simply says, “Have a great day,” and turns to go when Deepika alerts him to the coincidence of his arrival and the marriage-related query. He comments, “What a cosmic thing to have happened.” When Deepika urges the journalist to go on, she is questioned about their marriage’s duration. Despite the fact that they have only been together for 10–11 years, the pair has been married for 4.5 years. In addition to holding hands while they talk about it, Deepika asks, “What are we doing?” to which Ranveer responds, “I just came to say hi.” Speaking of her marriage, Deepika states, “My husband and I like spending time together. I got married to my best pal. We are just so silly with each other, in my opinion. I may feel the most vulnerable, awkward, and expressive version of myself. Yes, we’ve been friends for almost 10 years, so it’s my happy spot. A few months ago, there were speculations that the pair was going through a difficult time in their marriage, but neither of them brought it up in conversation. By appearing together in public, they merely disproved the rumours. In November 2018, Ranveer and Deepika exchanged vows in a private ceremony near Lake Como in Italy. Two receptions were held to commemorate, one in Bengaluru and the other in Mumbai. At the moment, Deepika is collaborating with Prabhas on Project K and Hrithik Roshan on Fighter.
