Palak Tiwari shares Salman Khan’s clothing code for female cast members

Palak Tiwari, whose Bollywood debut film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is due to release shortly, recently discussed working with Salman Khan and disclosed a “rule” that the actor has on set. After performing in the music video for “Bijlee Bijlee” by Harrdy Sandhu, Palak, the daughter of television actress Shweta Tiwari, became a household name.
Palak added in an interview with Siddharth Kannan that she had previously worked with Salman on the set of Antim: The Final Truth, which starred Salman and his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma. She also spilled the beans on the one rule that Salman had enforced on site for all the female crew members, stating that her mother was the happiest person in the world about it.
When asked if her mom cried when she heard Palak had gotten the part, Palak stated, “My mom didn’t cry, and that’s the nice thing. Since she anticipated my presence on Salman sir’s set, she remained serene. Her demeanour was calm. There actually is a hilarious tale to tell. Because, like any desi mother ever, she has always been critical of what I wear, she has been extremely thrilled with Salman sir. Every girl on my set, the neckline should be here, all the girls should be covered, like nice proper girls,” Salman sir once told me while I was an assistant director on Antim.
According to Palak, whenever her mother saw her leaving for work, fully covered, she felt suspicious. He’s very old-fashioned. Jo pehenna hai pehno is something he says, but he also believes his daughters should be safe at all times. “He’s like, the female should be safe, always,” she said, “even if there are men around that he doesn’t know personally, it’s not his own area where he doesn’t trust everyone.
Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati, Jagapathi Babu, Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Vijender Singh, and others star in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, directed by Farhad Samji. On April 21st, the movie will debut in theatres.
