Pretty and feisty Alia Bhatt’s MET Gala outfit is praised

In pearls for her first MET Gala appearance on Tuesday, Alia Bhatt resembled nothing less than a princess. Family, friends, and fans praised the actor profusely on social media. This included the actor Katrina Kaif, her sister-in-law Riddhima Kapoor, and her mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor.
Alia’s MET Gala outfit was shared by Neetu Kapoor on her Instagram Stories, and she captioned the photo “stunning” with the star-eyes and heart emojis. Additionally, Riddhima posted a collage of Alia and Natasha Poonawalla’s images along with the caption, “Wow and wow. Hands down, favourite: “Pretty and fierce.” Soni Razdan, Alia’s mother, also liked and shared her photos on social media, and Shaheen Bhatt referred to her as a “angel” in a post.
Alia’s admirers and colleagues in the business commended her in the comments section as she posted photos from the MET Gala on Instagram. In the comments section, Katrina Kaif typed “So pretty” and an emoticon of a heart. Alia was dubbed “The Best Girl” by Kareena Kapoor. Many fire, heart, and heart-eye emojis were used by Janhvi Kapoor to decorate the post. Yasmin Karachiwala, a personal trainer, said on her post, “Absolutely stunning.”
Alia wore a ball gown with an exaggerated basque waist made of ivory silk tulle, satin face organza, and hand-beaded pearls from the Prabal Gurung workshop. The actor stated that she wanted to wear something that felt genuine and was “proudly made in India” for her first outing at “fashion’s biggest night.” The 100,000 pearl embroidery was a labour of love for @prabalgurung. I’m so happy to have worn you to my first Met,” she commented on Instagram next to a collection of images from the event.

She claimed that her outfit was inspired by the renowned Karl Lagerfeld-dressed Chanel brides, with whom she has long been captivated. “Season after season, Karl Lagerfeld’s talent was evident in the most avant-garde and breathtaking fashion. This, as well as the 1992 Chanel bridal ensemble worn by supermodel Claudia Schiffer, served as the inspiration for my outfit tonight, Alia said.
The actor finished off her ensemble with a knuckle duster, a stack of rings, and a pearl hair bow. Alia’s appearance for the occasion was designed by fashion designer Anaita Shroff Adajania.
